Jack ‘n Jill Potato Chips Rolls Out Bak Kwa Flavour For $1.40 A Pack
Sprinkle on a salad and pretend you’re eating ‘meat’.
After Egg Prata with Fish Curry potato chips, here’s another local flavour to try: Bak Kwa. Jack ’n Jill, the Hongkong potato chips brand known for their cheap and cheerful snacks, has rolled out a limited-edition flavour featuring the barbecued meat.
If we’re paying $1.40 for a 60g packet, we ain’t expecting real bits of bak kwa studding the chips. According to its ingredients list, the chips contain “bak kwa seasoning, soy sauce, soybean powder and spices”.
