Ronaldo invited Ed Sheeran to his home to show off his dance routine to 'Thinking Out Loud'.

The 40-year-old Brazilian professional footballer - whose full name is Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima - is believed to have asked the 'Shape of You' vocalist to come to his mansion in Sao Paolo, to put on a special performance him and his girlfriend, Celina Locks, had practiced to his 2014 hit single, according to The Sun Online.

Speaking about the unforgettable moment after his concert in the popular city in 2015, which was the first time the pair had met, the flame-haired musician said: "I met Ronaldo and he came to my concert and invited us to his house which has a club in it.

"We went there and he showed me my dance routine from the 'Thinking Out Loud' video.

"He had learned it with his girlfriend, which was amazing."

And the 26-year-old singer songwriter - who is currently dating Cherry Seaborn - is already excited to see the sportsman and his partner in the future, because he thinks he is "cool".

Speaking about the star, Ed said: "I get to see him again, that's exciting. I really like him.

"He was so cool. I got a shirt signed from him and it says, 'To Ed, you f***. Ronaldo'."

And Ronaldo isn't the only sporting legend the 'A Team' hitmaker is close friends with former England football captain David Beckham, and recently enjoyed a few drinks in the pub with the 41-year-old hunk and his 18-year-old son Brooklyn.

However, the trio were forced to cut their night short after being taunted by a group of Wales fans and began singing and mocking the retired player.

Speaking previously, a source said: "The boys were enjoying a catch up when suddenly the pub was taken over by Welsh fans at around 8.30pm.

"They tried to remain discreet wearing beanies and caps but the supporters recognised them and sang Welsh anthems, buoyed by the fact the pub was decked in Welsh flags.

"It started to get a bit annoying, forcing Becks to call it a night.

"He couldn't be bothered with it."
