Rita Ora set for BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge

Rita Ora and The 1975 have been confirmed for the BBC Radio 1 'Live Lounge' next month.

The 'Anywhere' hitmaker and indie rockers have both been announced as part of a star-studded lineup for Clara Amfo's weekday programme.

From Thursday November 1 through to Thursday November 29, a host of big names will step into the studio to perform an original song and a cover of their choice.

As well as Rita and The 1975 on November 19 and November 26 respectively, audiences will also be treated to sets from the likes of Dizzee Rascal, Twenty One Pilots, Blossoms, Goerge Ezra and Jess Glynne.

They'll be joined by Ellie Goulding, Robyn, Hozier, Jax Jones, Christine and the Queen, Rudimental and Tom walker, Zara Larsson, Marshmello and Bastille, and Lewis Capaldi.

Meanwhile, there will also be a special performance from Mumford and Sons and Live Lounge Symphony to bring the exciting bill to a close, with the 'Little Lion Man' band excited to be back in the studio.

"Starting with an intimate, hometown portrait of Twenty One Pilots in the venue where it all started for them, and culminating with a symphonic interpretation of Mumford & Sons' best known and newest songs, 'Live Lounge Month 2018' will once again bring you established and emerging artists as you've never seen them before."
