Phoebe Waller-Bridge's hit comedy series 'Fleabag' and HBO's 'Game of Thrones' were big winners at this year's Emmy Awards.
The ceremony held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday night (22.09.19) saw 'Fleabag' take home prizes for Outstanding Comedy Series, Lead Actress in a Comedy Series (Waller-Bridge), Directing For a Comedy Series (Harry Bradbeer) and Writing For A Comedy Series.
Whilst 'Game of Thrones' was honoured with accolades for Outstanding Drama Series and Supporting Actor in a Drama Series (Peter Dinklage).
Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series went to 'Killing Eve' star Jodie Comer, who was visibly shocked, while the Lead Actor in a Drama Series honour was given to Billy Porter for his performance in 'Pose' and Supporting Actress in a Drama Series was awarded to 'Ozark's Julia Garner.
In the comedy category, Lead Actor went to 'Barry' star Bill Hader, while 'The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel' stars Alex Borstein and Tony Shalhoub took the supporting honours.
