Boyfriend′s ′Glider′ Ranks on Japanese Charts

Boy group Boyfriend has shown their unchanging popularity by ranking 1 on Japan′s daily chart as well as placing on the Oricon chart.

Boyfriend, who began promotions in Japan for the first time in 2 years, released their single Glider on June 1. Their agency Starship Entertainment stated, "As soon as Boyfriend released their single ′Glider,′ the track ranked number 1 on the Tower Record chart, Japan′s largest record company. We thank all the fans and we will thank them by trying that much harder."Additionally, Glider also ranked number 3 on music site Oricon′s daily chart.

Boyfriend′s track Glider, which is their first Japanese release in 2 years, is attracting attention as it was produced by Japans top hit maker Yoshimasa Inoue. Glider is a powerful track that features the strong vocals of Boyfriend members and goes perfectly with the early summer weather.

Boyfriend has taken their spot as a top K-pop star through their world tour that began in November 2015. They also showed their love for their fans through the special 5th anniversary track To My Bestfriend, which was released on May 21.

Meanwhile, Boyfriend plans to continue promotions in both Korea and abroad.
