Zoe Tay, Vincent Ng, Terence Cao & Chen Xiuhuan’s Recent Bus “Adventure" Will Have You In Stitches
We have a play-by-play account, thanks to Terence.

These days Zoe Tay’s Instagram Story feed is pretty much filled with snaps of her weekly hiking sessions with her celeb pals like Chen Xiuhuan, Angela Ang and Hong Huifang.
It’s pretty much a set routine for the 53-year-old Ah Jie by now — a quick hike on a weekday morning, followed by a sumptuous post-hike meal at a nearby hawker centre.
However, this week’s hike was just a little bit different.
Zoe and her regular hiking kakis, Xiuhuan and Angela, were joined by two new faces — actors Vincent Ng, 45, and Terence Cao, 53, who were pretty much the mood-makers of the day.

Putting his wushu skills to good use
Case in point: This particular snap of Vincent striking a very nimble pose, that Terence posted on his Instagram Story.

Guess what bus they took?
But wait. That’s not all. After their usual post-hike meal, Zoe, Xiuhuan, Vincent and Terence decided to cap their day with a new “adventure" — navigating Singapore’s public transport system.
Or to put it simply, they took a bus.
Sounds simple enough, but watching the Instagram Stories of Terence, who’d documented the whole process in a series of videos, reveals an entirely different story.

Uh.. how much was it again?
As it turns out, while Zoe and Xiuhuan appeared to be more familiar with the whole process —boarding the bus, tapping their cards and finding a seat, Vincent and Terence were just a little slower.
The duo, who paid for their journey in cash, had to consult the driver on the fare. Despite Vincent’s protests that he “had taken the bus just last week”, it took a minute or so before they were able to sort out the whole payment issue.

Three cheers for public transport!
And here’s where the fun begins. As the bus moved off, Terence began a very serious review of the bus.
“It turns out that the buses in Singapore have air conditioning” he said in wonder, before following up with a quick “just joking, just joking”.
Terence then goes on to “inspect" the pink handrails and poles, before giving his final verdict — “comfortable" and “international”, which we assume he means it's so good, it’s internationally renowned.

Zoe consulting Google on which bus they were supposed to take
“Ah Jie also taught me how to use Google to search for the bus I need to take”, Terence added, with Vincent quipping: “Looks like it’s time for you to buy your own bus”.
Say what now?
