Zoe Tay On Staying Home With Her Three Sons During The COVID-19 Outbreak, And Why She Would Panic Without Her Husband Around
Mummy duties never end.
We were in the middle of our phone interview with Zoe Tay last week (Apr 1) when the actress, who was home, suddenly excused herself to shout some inaudible command to one of her sons in the background, before returning to our conversation and picking up right where we left off.
This is a snapshot of the new reality faced by working parents in Singapore and many other parts of the world who are staying home during the COVID-19 outbreak. Although the 52-year-old, whose latest Mediacorp drama My Guardian Angels debuts on April 6, has cut down on her workload in recent years and has been spending more time with her boys Brayden, 15, Ashton, 12, and Nathan, nine, she’s now involved in their lives on a whole new level. Especially with home-based learning being implemented and tuition sessions going online as well.
