Yvonne Lim Was Followed By A Fan While Driving Home So She Led Him Straight To Tanglin Police Station
It's one thing to want to catch a glimpse of your favourite celebrity.
Following them home is another story altogether.
In a recent video shared by The Celebrity Agency, Mediacorp actress Yvonne Lim recalled a frightening encounter with a fan who allegedly tailed her after work.
"Back then, when the broadcaster was still at Caldecott Hill, artistes would always enter and leave through the radio gate. When my car left the station, another car started following behind me," she said.
"I thought it was really strange. I looked through the rear-view mirror and realised the car kept following me."
Realising something was wrong, Yvonne decided against driving home. Instead, she made several turns to see if the car would continue following her.
"The more turns I took, the weirder it got. I remember eventually turning into Tanglin Police Station," she recalled. "I was really shocked, so I walked straight into the police station. And he continued to follow me."
Yvonne immediately informed the officers that the man had been tailing her, and they stepped in.
According to the actress, the man then denied even knowing who she was.
"'I don't even know her,'" he claimed.
Fortunately, the officers weren't convinced. They detained him long enough for Yvonne to leave safely.
Unfortunately, that wasn't the end of the ordeal.
"Not long after, he appeared at the radio gate again," Yvonne said. "But my other fans already knew about him, so they were really thoughtful and helped keep him away from me."
Safe to say, that's every celebrity's worst nightmare.
