The devastating recent floods in Malaysia have left at least 70,000 people displaced, and celebs like Wang Lei have been doing their part to raise money and lend a hand in whatever way they can.

On Tuesday (Dec 28), Mediacorp actor Yao Wenlong, who is currently back in his hometown Johor Bahru, shared a screenshot of a funds transfer statement on his socials.

The 51-year-old revealed that a “Malaysian friend” who has “settled down and established a career in Singapore” and “made a name for himself in Taiwan” had asked him to help send money to those in flood-stricken areas.

This “friend” had also requested anonymity, so Wenlong blurred out his name, as well as the amount donated, in the receipt.

“Do you know who it is? Help me write his name,” Wenlong quipped in the caption.
