What We Reminisced About When We Turned 1,000 Weeks Old

It’s taken us 1,000 weeks to get here. So of course we’ll savour it—and take it from the top again. We reminisce about what we reminisced in the 1,000th issue of 8 DAYS. Did someone say Inception?

If we didn’t have such a healthy sense of humour, we’d need therapy. ’Cos we’ve got, like, 1,000 issues. Now, that’s a lot of issues. Issues accumulated from 19 years of shadowing celebs, psycho-analysing their words, mourning their tragedies, mocking their misdeeds and championing their causes. Speaking of causes, we just had to prise ‘Angelina Jolie’ from her UN brood to join our cosy commemorative shoot. And we assure you that our photographer did not do anything unusual or out of the ordinary on Angelina on the cover. Um, speaking of which, we’re also struck by how we’ve gone from admiring Mrs Bruce Willis’ bod on the big screen, to marvelling at Mrs Ashton Kutcher’s butt on Twitter.
