Gold 905 DJ Vernetta Lopez revealed today (Sep 4) that her cat Roofie has passed away. The sad news comes after Vern's grueling seven-day search for the domestic short-haired cat, which had gone missing last week.
The 47-year-old radio jock expressed her grief in an emotional Instagram post.
“It’s with a heavy heart that I have to tell you that it’s confirmed that Roofie has passed away. An NEA Uncle confirmed it. Roofie was a rambunctious, loving, friendly, playful, curious, naughty, beautiful cat and we are going to miss her terribly. I am so heart broken,” wrote Vernetta.
