Tracy Lee On Her New Cookie Biz & Why She Pulled Her Son Out Of School After 4 Days
Taking care of her two-year-old son, who is suffering from severe eczema, is now a full-time job for the former Mediacorp actress.
It's that time again where every corner you turn, there's someone selling CNY cookies. Getting in on the sweet, sweet action this year is Tracy Lee, who launched Mommy Lee Bakery two months ago.
The 35-year-old former Mediacorp actress tells 8days.sg that she started the business not to make money, but to share "good stuff at a good price" with the people around her.
“I’m preparing to launch my jewellery business and I gave some of my partners cookies made by a 50-something year-old auntie," says Tracy over the phone. "They really liked it and asked if I could sell more to them, which was how the business started. But the auntie didn’t want to start her own biz — her hobby is to bake — so she asked me to do it instead.”
