TikToker Tests Locals On 10 Most Valuable S’pore Brands — No One Could Guess What #2 Was
Sometimes the most obvious answers aren't the right ones.
Popular TikToker Max Klymenko, aka the Career Ladder guy, was recently in Singapore on the hunt for folks with interesting jobs. While he was here, he also revealed a few interesting nuggets of info about our country that even some Singaporeans didn't know about.
Specifically, he took to the streets of Singapore to quiz an earnest audience on what the top 10 most valuable Singapore brands are by their value.
Most people confidently named big players such as Razer, Grab, and even Temasek. Surprisingly, none of them made the list.
The TikToker mysteriously left out the company in the number two spot in the clip, which has garnered more than 3.5 million views.
“It is something very, very obvious right now,” he teased, perched atop his ladder at the Merlion Park. Wait a minute, it can’t be the Merlion in the background, right?
Turns out, all people had to do was to look further, literally.
A quick check online confirmed the mystery brand to be Marina Bay Sands (MBS). According to Brand Finance Singapore 100, the luxury integrated resort made its debut on the list in 2024.
