Local Actor Timothy Nga, 49, Has Passed Away
The This Land is Mine actor died yesterday (Jan 9).
Local actor Timothy Nga, 49, has passed away.
Gurmit Singh shared the news via a post on Instagram earlier today (Jan 10). He posted a picture of Timothy’s obituary, along with the caption: "Gone too soon. Rest in Peace brother. Will miss you always.”
According to the obituary, Timothy died yesterday (Jan 9).
Timothy’s cause of death has not been made public.
The award-winning actor and director was active in local showbiz, having appeared in a number of theatre productions, as well as Mediacorp shows.
His last Mediacorp drama was 2021’s This Land Is Mine, where he played Guan Meng.
He also appeared in 2009 drama, Fighting Spiders as Simon.
The actor also starred in local director Anthony Chen’s film, Wet Season. Apart from his showbiz endeavours, Timothy worked as an executive coach, emcee and voice-over artiste.
