What would you do if you were in a wax museum and while you were taking a photo with the wax figure of, let’s say, Chris Evans and the real deal walks up to you? You would snap a pic with him but not before freaking out right? Well, not for one Jay Chou fan. The singer was recently in Bangkok for a holiday when he decided to pay the local wax museum a visit. (Is this what stars do on their free time?) And as he approached a woman taking a pic with his wax likeness — we have a good feeling Jay made a beeline for his exhibit — she took one look at the real Jay before walking away cooly as if the singer was just another visitor wanting some me time with the doppelganger. The hilarious moment was thankfully captured on video, which Jay promptly posted on IG. “Why’d you choose to take a picture with the fake Jay? The real Jay is here!” he wrote. Well, maybe she had no idea what Jay actually looks like seeing how different the wax version is from the real person?
Burn baby burn
Is it us or does CARINA LAU’s wax figure look like one of those paper effigies people burn during Chinese funerals?
It’s like a scene in a sci-fi movie where DANIEL WU travels 20 years into the future to meet his older self.
How much wax did they use?
They say the camera adds ten pounds to a person. The same can be said for a wax figure... if you’re BARBIE HSU.
And here is ANGELABABY posing with a wax figure of Li Bingbing.
This really freaked us out
LEE JOON GI’s wax figure is what nightmares are made of. And the Korean star seems to agree with us.
Big screen effect
Wax COCO LEE has the kind of forehead you can project movies off of.
CHRIS HEMSWORTH’s expression says it all.
Don’t kill us Tao fans
This doesn’t happen often but former EXO member HUANG ZITAO’s wax figure actually improves on the original.
Dead… on arrival
RYAN REYNOLDS looks like he’s posing with his less hot, less successful brother.
Bet you can’t tell which is the real BAE SUZY, which if you ask us, says a lot about Bae Suzy.
