Terence Cao Makes His Korean Variety Show Debut Representing S'pore

We all know Super Junior's Leeteuk, 42, is a total heartthrob and has millions of fans.

But we weren't expecting local actor Terence Cao to be one of them.

Last week, the 57-year-old shared on Facebook a series of photos he took with the K-pop idol. 

"First time chasing a Korean star in real life, [it was a] success! Met Super Junior’s leader Leeteuk, he's so handsome in person that I was speechless, a thousand times more gentle than on screen," he gushed.

"This photo is now permanently saved on my phone screen!"

And before you ask, no, this wasn't some random fan meet where Terence got to fanboy over Leeteuk.

Turns out, the Terence was invited to Korea to take part in variety show, S.O.S Save Our Stock, which is hosted by the Korean oppa. (Well, to Terence, Leeteuk is technically a dongsaeng aka younger brother)

In an interview with Chinese media 8world, Terence shared that this was his first time making an appearance on a Korean variety show.

The program, which blended entertainment with shopping, also featured live streamers from Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia.

Terence, the founder of e-commerce platform Sibay Shiok, was there to represent Singapore, together with local former beauty queen Genecia Alluora.

"Although the entire show was conducted in Korean, every foreign guest had access to real-time translation. Even when some spoke Thai or Vietnamese, we could hear the translation within a second. The translation system was so impressive!" raved Terence. 

And this is only the beginning of Terence’s foray into the Korean market.

The actor shared that he will also be collaborating with a e-commerce content platform there to produce more short-form videos and online content in the near future.

Guess the real question is: which K-star will Terence be fanboy-ing over next?
