Style Evolution: Paige Chua

Did you know that Paige once donned the classic Motorshow Babe crop top?

Like the Paige of today, the Paige of yesteryear kept it simple: a neat hairstyle, natural makeup, and simple white shirt and pants set were all she needed to look fresh and pretty.

No hawker babe outfit is complete without a fanny pack and a backward baseball cap.

Ah the unflattering potato sack dress. Don’t worry Paige, we’ve all been there – Ya Hui included - and worn that.
 

Paige clearly didn’t get the memo that less is more. While we think the shimmery dress is pretty cute, the necklace is total overkill.

Paige certainly looked royal in her multi-tiered cocktail dress and tiara comb.

Despite how well it blends in with the curtains, we’ve got to love the timelessness of Paige’s linen top-white pants combo.

Even though Paige usually chooses more low-key outfits, she looked completely at ease in this boudoir-inspired getup. (Confidence gained from the Motorshows, perhaps?)

Chinese New York show outfits tend to be a little flamboyant, and Paige’s gown — and those velvet gloves — were no exception.

While Paige looks gorgeous, this dress, with its layers of tulle and silver hue, screams wedding gown. Paige even wore her hair in a bridal-like bun to complete the look.

Yikes! The dress’ excessive ruffles and garish colour take all the attention away from Paige’s pretty face.

2013 must have been Paige’s experimental year. First she decided to attend the Star Awards as MC Hammer…

... and then as Elmo.

The cutting and the embellishments... this dress looks like something a tai tai in her 50s would wear.

Who needs jewellery and a designer gown when you look this good in Love, Bonito?

Paige decided to step out of her comfort zone and opt for a sexy Roberto Cavalli number, which she said was “revealing for my standards”, for the 2015 Star Awards. And the risk paid off. Paige was named Most Stylish star that night.

It’s amazing how Paige managed to look like she’s 34-going-on-14 with her cute pigtails and camo print tank.

Paige dazzled in a romantic Alice + Olivia lace gown when she picked up the Most Stylish Artiste award at the PPCTV-Mediacorp Awards.

Paige must have gotten loads of compliments for the Vaughn Tan dress she wore to the Mediacorp New Campus Opening so she wore a similar gown to the Star Awards the following year. We like this much better!

We’ve never been fans of gingham but the sexy cutouts elevate this dress from cheap (read: table cloth) to chic.

Paige and Alice + Olivia are a match made in heaven. Doesn't she look charming in this dress that looks seemingly lifted from the pages of a storybook?

Head-to-toe floral prints are not the easiest look to pull off, but Paige looks demure in this flowy number from Juicy Couture.

Paige is giving us major In The Mood For Love vibes in her floral cheongsam.

Paige looked sleek and elegant in a gown specially designed by Keith Png. Our eyes are immediately drawn to the sliver of white on the assymetrical neckline.

Though the blunt bangs that she sported on Blessings 2 were clip-ons, we like how quirky Paige looked in them. Perhaps she can consider wearing this look permanently when her fringe grows out.

Paige looks like an angel that has fallen from the skies twirling in that ethereal dress.

While her goddess-like white gown with a sheer décolletage looked graceful, we felt it was a tad too bridal-like for our liking.

We love Paige’s black jumpsuit here because of the exaggerated shoulders; the puffy sleeves add more shape and drama to her look. The eye-catching earrings are also plus points for her outfit.

We can't get over how demure and fresh-faced Paige looks in this pretty jacquard cheongsam.
