Stefanie Sun’s Husband Jokes About Going To The Cinema On Day Of Her Concert

Homegrown pop diva Stefanie Sun celebrated her 25th anniversary as a singer with her Aut Nihilo: Sun Yanzi In Concert tour which kicked off at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on April 5.

This was her first full-length solo concert on home soil in more than 10 years and even before the show started, the internet was already buzzing with anticipation. 

Stef’s husband Nadim van der Ros also took to social media to show his support, but it’s not quite what you would expect.

At 1:17pm on Apr 5, Nadim posted on Facebook: “I think I’ll go to the cinema tonight,” along with a thinking face emoji.

Some friends played along, commenting: “Me too. We may be going to the same cinema for the same show at the same time.”

Another asked: “What movie are you watching? Before Sunrise or Before Sunset?” referring to the title of Stef’s tour, which translates to After Sunset.

Of course, Nadim was only teasing.

At 12:09 am, Nadim posted a snap of the concert stage, with his face flashed on the backdrop. In the caption, he wrote: “I did manage to find a show to go to on Saturday night,” tagging Stef in the post.

Netizens gushed about how sweet the couple are, with one asking: “Is this your form of publicity?”

“Will you watch the same show in Hong Kong?” asked another.

Looks like Nadim has become quite the celebrity himself.

During the concert, fans approached Nadim for selfies and some shared pics of him enjoying the concert.

"Spotted Stefanie Sun's husband, brother-in-law is so handsome!" commented one fan, while another said he is as cute as Stef.
