Last night (Nov 3), Teoh Zetong had to make a tough decision.

The Carousell associate customer relationship management manager was crowned the winner of Star Search 2019, and he had to make a choice between his corporate career and a life in the spotlight.

His boss was in the audience, and although he doesn't understand a single lick of Mandarin, he had translators in the form of Zetong’s colleagues who told him what was going on on stage. What needed no translation, however, was when the 26-year-old was handed the winner's trophy at the end of the evening.
