Star Awards 2022 Top 10 Most Popular Male & Female Artistes: Who Is Leading So Far

There are just three more days to the Star Awards and like every year, the Top 10 Most Popular Male and Female Artistes are two of the most anticipated awards.

Today (Apr 21), Mediacorp revealed who among the Top 40 nominated artistes are currently leading the pack.

Here are the male artistes (in alphabetical order) who are ahead in votes:

Ben Yeo, Brandon Wong, Chen Shucheng, Chen Tianwen, Desmond Tan, Guo Liang, Lee Teng, Marcus Chin, Pierre Png, Pornsak, Richard Low, Romeo Tan, Shaun Chen, Xu Bin, Zhang Yaodong.

And the male artistes who have fallen behind in votes are: Chua Enlai, Darren Lim, Rayson Tan, Yao Wenlong, Zhu Houren

The female artistes currently leading are: Aileen Tan, Carrie Wong, Chantalle Ng, Cynthia Koh, Felicia Chin, Hong Huifang, Hong Ling, Jesseca Liu, Jin Yinji, Liu Lingling, Paige Chua, Pan Lingling, Rebecca Lim, Ya Hui, Yvonne Lim

And the female artistes who have fall behind are: Lin Meijiao, Lina Ng, Michelle Chia, Priscelia Chan, Sheila Sim

Public voting for the Top 10 Most Popular Artistes will cease on April 24, 8pm, with the final results announced during the ceremony. Today's list reflects the public voting results, which take up 70 per cent of the total votes, as of 18 April, 9am.

The other 30 per cent of the final results will be taken from a poll of 1,000 people representing an equal breakdown across various age groups in Singapore as conducted by an accredited market research company.

Unlimited voting will start on April 24 midnight to 8pm so fans can vote for their favourite stars as many times as they want.

Catch the Backstage LIVE event of Star Awards 2022 from 3.30pm - 10.30pm on meWATCH or Mediacorp Entertainment YouTube Channel on April 24 (Sunday).

The Walk Of Fame will be from 5pm - 6.30pm, on meWATCH, Ch 8, Ch U, and Mediacorp Entertainment YouTube Channel on the same day.

It will be followed by the main Star Awards 2022 Awards Ceremony from 7pm - 10pm on meWATCH, Ch 8, Ch U, and Mediacorp Entertainment YouTube Channel.

The repeat telecast for the Walk of Fame and Award Ceremony will air on Ch 8 from 2pm - 6.30pm on May 1 (Sunday).
