Nominees For Star Awards 2024, Which Will Happen On Apr 21

And so it begins. This year's Star Awards is happening on April 21 and will be held at The Theatre at Mediacorp. The programme and creative achievement awards will be given out during an exclusive Gala Night taking place at Zouk Singapore on April 15. 

One new thing to look forward to is the Best Audio Personality award, which honours local radio DJs.

Both the Best Audio Personality award and the existing Best Radio Programme award will be decided by a panel of professional judges. 

The Best Entertainment Special Programme and Best Entertainment Programme awards have been merged while the Evergreen Artiste Award, which honours actors above 50, has been removed due to Mediacorp's belief that "artistic excellence transcends age".

“Star Awards looks to recognise not only the brightest stars but also creative talent behind the scenes. Congratulations to all SA2024 nominees – it is an honour to celebrate your achievements with you! Fans, do join the celebrations by tuning in and cheering the nominees on!," says Angeline Poh, Chief Customer & Corporate Development Officer, Mediacorp.

Fans will also get a chance to choose the winner for Best Theme Song. Voting starts from Feb 22, 5pm till March 20, 11.59pm at mediacorp.sg/StarAwards. Voting for the popularity awards will commence in March.

Star Awards 2024 will start at 3.30pm on mewatch and the Mediacorp Entertainment YouTube Channel, with exclusive live backstage footage, interviews with artistes and the live streaming of the ceremony.

The Walk of Fame will begin at 5pm, followed by the live show at 7pm, which will be streaming online and airing on Ch 8 and Ch U.
