Seriously?

First brought to attention by Norwegian swimmer Henrik Christiansen on his TikTok, the 27-year-old has since posted eight videos about them in the past week.

In one TikTok, Henrik who is now known as ‘The Muffin Man’ gave the cake a “11/10”, while another clip had him calling it the “single greatest thing about the Olympic village”.

We wonder if badminton player Loh Kean Yew has tried the chocolate muffin yet?

At least one of Singapore’s athletes, swimmer Quah Jingwen, jumped on bandwagon posting two hilarious videos to TikTok with the chocolate muffin in the spotlight.

“Trying to avert my eyes from the Olympics chocolate muffin so the Norwegian muffin man doesn’t appear” wrote Jingwen.

Netizens took to the comments that “whoever makes these muffins need to get their marketing team on the line”.

The 23-year-old later explained in the captions that she will “snag one after [her] race” as she tries not to eat sweet snacks before competing.

The following day, she posted another video of a staffer replenishing the chocolate muffin at the dining hall and wrote, “I’ll be back on the 3rd”.

Jingwen is hoping to finish well enough in the heats to garner a spot in the semi-finals happening on Saturday (August 3).

Whatever the result, we are waiting for your taste test, Jingwen!
