Man Called “S’pore’s Yusuf Dikec” After Shooting Perfect Score At Pasar Malam Game Stall
Imagine if we discovered our next medal hopeful… at a pasar malam?
Did the outstanding performances of Olympic shooters Kim Yeji from South Korea and Turkey’s Yusuf Dikec inspire Singaporeans to show off their inner marksmanship?
According to a video posted to TikTok, it seems to be the case.
In the clip, it shows a man at a pasar malam excelling at a shooting game, gunning down every can off the shelves and hitting an impressive perfect score.
Said to be at the Pasar Malam next to the Tampines Bus Interchange, he was accompanied by three kids and a woman who were seen clapping with glee as they anticipated the upcoming prize.
If you ask us, we thought the look of disbelief on the face of the person manning the stall was even more hilarious to watch.
Since it was posted over the weekend, the 30-second video has chalked up more than 347K views.
Netizens quickly dived into the comments proclaiming the marksman the “Pasar Malam John Wick”.
Others felt that he was more like “Singapore’s Yusuf Dikec”.
Yusuf went viral during the Paris Olympics for turning up with limited gear but still winning a silver medal.
The TikToker who posted the video agreed with the comment and even replied that she was waiting for him to put one hand in the pocket like Yusuf Dikec.
However, other sources online have come out to say the video was taken in Malaysia, and not Singapore.
If he is proven to be Singaporean, is the Singapore National Olympic Council taking notes to uncover our next medal hopeful?
