Ah Boy Noah Yap Is S’pore Instagram’s Most Influential Figure Of 2025, Jayley Woo Tops TikTok List

What does it really mean to have influence in Singapore? Can it be measured by hitting a million followers or racking up millions of social media content views? 

According to recent data, the answer might very well be tied to one's credibility. 

Media monitoring company Meltwater has released its 2025 ranking of Singapore's most influential public figures, and some of the results were surprising to say the least. 

Instead of looking at follower counts, the AI-powered monitoring tool scores creators based on indicators such as influence, reach, and quality of engagement.

For Instagram rankings, local content creator and Ah Boys star Noah Yap topped the list with an impressive score of 94. Influencer Ming (@mingweirocks) ranked second with 89 points, while former 987 DJ Kimberly Wang came in third with 88 points.

Local musician Nathan Hartono and 987 DJ Sonia Chew also placed in the top five. 

Standing out on the list were President Tharman and PM Lawrence Wong, who both tied at a score of 87 — a sign that national leaders in Singapore hold sway equal to that of celebrities and content creators.

On the TikTok side of things, local actress Jayley Woo made first place with 93 points, while Taufik Batisah and content creator Debbie. S (aka Jianhao Tan's wife) tied for second with 92 points. 

Influencer Melissa Koh came in next at 89 points, while math tutor and content creator Denise Soong and local actor Glenn Yong both entered the Top 10 with 88 points. 

PM Lawrence Wong made the TikTok list too, ranking seventh with 87 points, tying with social media stars Carrine Low and Annette Lee.
