Show Luo Reveals He’s A Fan Of ‘Fish Selling Bro’ In This Funny Online Chat With Wang Lei
An unlikely interaction, but welcome nonetheless.
Remember when local getai singer Wang Lei, aka the internet-famous ‘Fish Selling Bro’, joked that his popularity was " comparable to that of Mandopop king Jay Chou"?
Well, it looks like the 60-year-old wasn't exaggerating at all ‘cos he’s landed himself a very famous fan indeed.
And it’s none other than Taiwanese singer-actor Show Luo.

In fact, Show’s such a big fan of Wang Lei that he even took the initiative to DM the getai singer on Instagram with a super supportive message.
“Hahaha hello Wang ge I really like you ‘cos you bring everyone joy, [it’s worth] praising,” Show’s first message read.
Then came Wang Lei’s hilarious reply.
“You’re really Show Luo!” read the first message, which was tinged with a healthy dose of disbelief. It was swiftly followed up with a second message, asking: “Or are you his assistant!”.
Um… we hope Wang Lei’s not referring to this particular assistant, who got into hot soup recently after their less-than-appropriate DMs were leaked.

But in any case, it looks like Show was able to catch Wang Lei’s drift.
The 41-year-old replied to Wang Lei with this quip: “I’m the actual [Show], what about you, are you the real Wang Lei, or an assistant?”.
And then, mirroring Wang Lei’s messages, Show adds: “ Or are you Zhu Zhenyi?”, naming a netizen who’d gotten popular for leaving the most inane questions on Wang Lei’s live streams.

Oh, and if that’s not enough to prove that he's a real fan, Show even posted a screenshot of his text conversation with Wang Lei on his IG Story, adding the caption: “[Became] close partners with Fish Selling Bro, this is too cool”.
Yup, looks like Show’s really a huge fan of boy 'Fish Selling Bro'.
