The Mums Of Seow Sin Nee & Juin Teh Didn’t Recognise Them When They Went Back To M’sia As A Surprise After Being Away For 2 Years
The Mediacorp artistes also ran into issues before getting on their VTL trips, which they documented in the latest episode of #JustSwipeLah.
The launch of the land and air Vaccinated Travel Lanes (VTL) between Singapore and Malaysia has finally allowed families separated by the Causeway to be reunited… provided they fulfil all the necessary requirements, of course.
In this week’s episode of #JustSwipeLah, Mediacorp artistes Seow Sin Nee and Juin Teh, who also host the bite-sized infotainment series, documented their brief trips back to Malaysia for the first time in almost two years… and they both ran into similar hiccups.
According to Juin, who took the land VTL to Johor Bahru, she had problems submitting her negative ART result to the MySafeTravel portal as she did not have it digitally authenticated and converted into a QR code via the Notarise website.
Fortunately, the 31-year-old was still granted access through customs as she had printed out the complete set of documents.
