Some of us literally watched Regene Lim grow up.

Yes, she's the child actress who's known for her roles in Mediacorp dramas Live Again, Kinship 2 and Breakout.

The now 22-year-old, who started acting in 2006, also holds the record for most Best Young Talent wins (3! And in consecutive years!) at the Star Awards.

The Methodist Girls' School alum took a break from acting when she entered secondary school, only returning to showbiz when she was in university.

In 2018, she became a Mediacorp artiste and went on to act in dramas such as All Around You, My Guardian Angels and most recently, Dark Angel.

However, Regene, who recently graduated from NTU Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information, announced on her Instagram yesterday (Nov 30) that her time with Mediacorp has come to an end.

"After four years, today marks my last day with @the_celebrityagency. It’s been a crazy journey and I’m grateful for my managers and boss for all the opportunities and experiences," she said.

Regene added that "the road ahead is new and daunting", but she's "excited to explore more and grow in different ways".

She also said that she "can't wait to share more about [her] plans", and urged her fans to stay tuned.
