Priscelia Chan’s Instagram Story update on December 3 had us all a little worried. The 42-year-old had shared that both she and her 44-year-old husband, former actor Alan Tern, had been “scalded by hot coffee at a cafe”. And the pictures that accompanied her update, while not super gory, didn’t look too good either.

Luckily, when 8days.sg spoke to Priscelia, the actress said that it was “not something super serious”, but still, serious enough to warrant a visit to the doctors.

And no, it was not like Taiwanese actress Ady An’s hot tea incident, where she was scalded ‘cos the paper bag her tea had been packed in broke.
