She also admires those who have the courage to forgive their partners who have cheated on them (like Sammi Cheng).

If Felicia Chin were to describe herself as an animal, it would be… “A smiling donkey,” she says, before bursting into one of her signature, earth-shaking guffaws. “Somebody who is a bit inconspicuous but works hard while staying cheerful all the time.”

While a donkey is one of the last critters we would have associated the 36-year-old actress with, she somehow manages to convince us with that description, especially with the “cheerful” part. We’re not quite sure about “inconspicuous”, though — as mentioned earlier, Feli’s name is practically synonymous with laughter you can hear from across the street (true story: a co-star of hers once told us he could hear her laughing from four storeys above him in a small wooden house).

However, she tells 8days.sg she had to tone down this ultra-bubbly side considerably on the set of her latest Mediacorp drama A Jungle Survivor, in which she plays the tough and icy Olivia. The character, by the way, is likened to a scorpion in the series.
