Phyllis Quek Celebrates 50th Birthday, Doesn’t Look Her Age At All

When we talk about local celebs who are aging like fine wine, former Mediacorp actress Phyllis Quek is definitely someone who would come to mind. 

In fact, we can’t believe that Phyllis just turned 50. Come on, look at her. Does she look like someone who’s half a century old?

Yesterday (Aug 23), Phyllis took to her Instagram to wish herself "the most blissful birthday ever!"

Posting a pic and a video of herself sitting in a bathtub filled with pink and gold balloons and the numbers 5-0 floating behind her, Phyllis wrote: "Today, I pray that God's love and blessings for me will know no bounds."

The actress also hash-tagged #embraceyourage #feelingloved.

Well, if we can look as great as Phyllis when we're her age, we'll certainly embrace it too. 

And we're not the only ones who think that the actress can pass off for much younger.

"You look 25!!! I’m confused," effused one netizen, while another wrote, "You look nothing like your age."

Phyllis' pal Sora Ma also left a comment, saying: "You look just like 21. Have a blast birthday pretty (sic)." 

Phyllis entered showbiz after coming second in Star Search 1995. After leaving Mediacorp in 2001, she turned the focus of her career to Taiwan and China. She took a step back from the spotlight after marrying Australian businessman, David Cox, who is 11 years her senior, in 2012.
