Pan Lingling, 52, Met Up With Former Actress Madeline Chu, 51, Who Still Looks Fab

We really, really, want to have what Pan Lingling, 52, and Madeline Chu, 51, are having. The two ageless beauties recently met up for lunch, with Lingling posting a picture from their date on Instagram. 

And just like the other netizens who left comments on Lingling's post, we couldn’t help but to do a double-take at just how good they looked.

On June 30, Lingling shared that Madeline had treated her to lunch to celebrate Lingling’s birthday, which falls on June 25.

“From the young girl [I met] at the 8th Drama Artiste Training Course, to the mother [of two] that she is today! We’ve known each other for close to 35 years. Though we don’t meet often, we’ll think of, and miss each other from time to time! And meet ever-so-often,” Lingling captioned.

Lingling and Madeline met at the former Singapore Broadcasting Corporation's 8th Drama Artiste Training Course and they entered showbiz after graduating in 1988.

Madeline is perhaps best known for her role in 1988 Mediacorp supernatural drama Mystery, which left kids who grew up in that era with an irrational fear of butterflies. #IYKYK

She left showbiz in 1996 after tying the knot with her diplomat husband, with whom she has two daughters. They lived in Taiwan and Japan for a number of years, before returning to Singapore in 2005.

Netizens were really pleased to see Madeline again, after so long.

“Both of you ladies don’t age,” one commented, while another urged for Lingling and Madeline to “cherish" their long-standing friendship.

Yet another netizen wrote that they were suddenly reminded of Mystery after seeing Madeline, while one netizen gushed that Madeline and Lingling still look as good as ever.

Finally, one netizen wrote that they used to idolise Madeline, and that "she's just as pretty" even after all these years.
