Ex Mediacorp Actress Ong Ai Leng Has Reunion With Tavia Yeung On Set Of HK Director Husband’s New TVB Drama

Former Mediacorp actress Ong Ai Leng, 47, recently made a rare set visit to support her director husband Kenne Yam, and the trip came with a bonus, a long-overdue reunion with actress Tavia Yeung.

Since leaving showbiz in 2010 and getting married in 2013, Ai Leng has largely stayed out of the limelight.

Now a self-described “housewife”, businesswoman and fitness influencer, she keeps her days packed with workouts, regularly documenting her fitness journey online and even competing in Hyrox competitions earlier this year.

In a recent Instagram post, Ai Leng shared that she had travelled to Shenzhen to accompany Kenne back to his alma mater for the filming of his latest TVB drama, War Of Thorns.

“I rarely visit sets, but since it was nearing the end of filming, I decided to join in the fun,” she wrote.

There, she took photos with cast members including Kenneth Ma, Moses Chan, Elaine Yiu and Ruco Chan.

The visit also turned into a mini reunion when she caught up with Tavia, who also stars in the drama and whom she hadn’t seen in years.

Calling her pal “still as warm and beautiful as ever”, Ai Leng also shared a sweet throwback: “I remember calling her to share the good news before I got married.”

Reflecting on the experience, Ai Leng shared how happy she was to witness her husband complete another project.

“Being able to accompany him and watch him wrap up another drama makes me very happy, because he’s doing what he loves most,” she said, adding that Kenne had once told her that no matter how tough things get, his happiest moments are always on set.

“So I will definitely support him wholeheartedly. Being able to do what you love is rare, especially for so many years. We must be grateful. Jia you! I’m right here with you.”
