One Of Zoe Tay’s Sons Gatecrashed The Heartland Hero Live Stream And Ah Jie Did Not Look Too Happy About It
Someone definitely got an earful after that cheeky stunt.
Ah Jie Zoe Tay, 53, has always been very careful when it comes to protecting her family’s privacy, especially that of her three sons, 16-year-old Brayden, 13-year-old Ashton, and 10-year-old Nathan.
Like several other celeb parents, the actress makes sure to conceal their faces whenever she posts their photos on social media… but it looks like one of them didn’t quite get the memo about his mum’s strict SOP.

On Thursday (Aug 26), the virtual press conference for upcoming Mediacorp long-form drama The Heartland Hero was streamed live on Ch 8’s Facebook page.
As YES 933 DJ Kunhua was interviewing Zoe, Rui En, Bryan Wong, Desmond Ng, and Star Search finalist Jernelle Oh, we noticed that Zoe suddenly appeared to be distracted by something — or someone — off screen.
What’s going on?
After giving Zoe a brief and vigorous shake on the arm to get her attention, one of her sons (it looks like it should be her youngest, Nathan), casually slid into frame behind her with a cheeky smile, giving everyone who was watching a quick but clear glimpse of his face.
We won’t post the uncensored screenshots here, but let’s just say that the kid looks a lot like Zoe’s husband, (former?) RSAF pilot Philip Chionh.
He also looked very unapologetic about his intrusion
Needless to say, Ah Jie, who just witnessed her years of hard work hiding Nathan’s face online go down the drain live on Facebook, did not look pleased with her son's stunt at all.
While everyone else got a good chuckle out of it (we heard Rui En let out a giggle), something about Zoe’s super obvious death glare tells us that Nathan didn’t get away with his mischievous little act. Is someone going to be grounded until he turns 18?
We hope Ah Jie wasn’t too hard on him ‘cos it was really cute
