“Now I know how my dad feels,” Vernon quipped during his phone interview with 8days.sg this morning (Nov 24). “I also come from a family with three boys, so it looks like the genes are really strong. We were hoping for a girl but it’s okay, I don’t mind three boys. Hopefully they will all grow up to have common interests and keep each other company so they can leave me alone to have some peace and watch my football. (Laughs)”

Jokes aside, Vernon is actually totally cool with being a hands-on dad. He’s currently on a two-week paternity leave to take care of Liam while Jayne does her confinement after being discharged from the hospital on Thursday. In fact, they don’t even plan on hiring a helper — at least, for the time being — as they’ve been doing fine on their own so far.
