Who Is The Hyperactive Blue Mascot That Stole The Show At NDP 2026 Rehearsal?

Look out for one energetic turquoise mascot that stole the show during the first National Day Parade rehearsal.

Every National Day Parade (NDP) seems to produce one unexpected breakout star.

This year, it's an overachieving turquoise blob with endless stamina that is stealing the show.

In videos posted to TikTok, spectators at the first NDP 2026 rehearsal, held at the National Stadium on Saturday (Jul 4), were completely fixated on one bouncy blue mascot enthusiastically flaunting dance moves.

One TikTok user hilariously summed up what many were thinking: "Who is this, and why is it busting moves?"

For those scratching their heads, the energetic mascot is BRAVE, the official mascot of the Beyond the Label (BTL), a mental health movement driven by a collective of 34 agencies co-led by TOUCH Community Services and the National Council of Social Service (NCSS).

Introduced in 2022, the turquoise, rosy-cheeked character represents the movement to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health conditions.

BRAVE joins Singa the Lion, Sharity the Elephant, Captain Green, Nila, and Becky Bunny at this year's parade.

According to TOUCH and NCSS, BRAVE's appearance is meant to encourage conversations around mental well-being in a warm and approachable way.

Well, mission accomplished, we say.

Netizens were thrilled by the infectious enthusiasm.

"Petition for a pay raise for the performer," said one. Another quipped: "OMG that blue mascot is having the time of its life."

Another spectator who'd attended the rehearsal chimed in: "OMG! I was there, and it kept jumping. It was so cute. Me and my mum were laughing the entire time."

Here's hoping the little turquoise scene-stealer keeps those dance moves for the rest of the NDP season.
