NBA Star Jimmy Butler Spotted in Singapore; Visits A Wet Market, Bugis Street, Chinatown, And Even Tries Chicken Feet
The Golden State Warriors star has been out exploring Singapore, with a few lucky fans even spotting him around town.
NBA All-Star Jimmy Butler has been making the most of his time in Singapore, sharing glimpses of his trip on Instagram Stories. Fans have also been spotting him around the city, though not always at the usual tourist hotspots.
The 36-year-old Golden State Warriors star visited several popular spots, including Chinatown, Bugis Street, and Marina Bay Sands.
He even made a pitstop at New Bahru, where he stopped by local coffee-tech brand Morning for a cuppa. The visit was later featured on the brand’s Instagram page. As a known coffee lover, that last stop didn’t come as much of a surprise.
On top of that, Jimmy also got a taste of local life. Presumably accompanied by a guide, he explored a neighbourhood wet market before heading to a hawker centre, where he sampled local favourites like ice kachang, which he really seemed to enjoy, and popiah.
In one of his Instagram Stories, Jimmy was also seen trying chicken feet for the first time. He looked a little hesitant at first, but after some encouragement from his companions (“it’s fine, it’s fatty”), he went for it. Judging by his reaction, he didn’t seem to mind it at all.
Earlier, before his arrival, the NBA star shared that he was onboard a STARLUX Airlines flight, where he mentioned that he would be stopping in both Taipei and Singapore. While the exact purpose of his visit to our little red dot has not been revealed, he may simply be making the most of his vacation, sightseeing and trying local food along the way.
