Nat Ho On Why He Was “Strangely Calm” When His Car In LA Got Stolen & His New Music Production Company, In Which He Invested S$66K
The 36-year-old singer-actor, who just released a new single ‘Next Better Playa’, also tells us why he doesn't know how long he plans on living in LA.
When 8days.sg met Nat Ho at a Starbucks in town for a chat about his latest single ‘Next Better Playa’ last week, the Los Angeles-based singer-actor had just been through quite an, um, interesting ordeal.
You see, about two weeks earlier, the 36-year-old woke up to a text from his friend in LA saying that Nat’s car, which he had lent to his buddy to use while Nat was back here in Singapore, had been stolen. Dun dun duuunnn.
“You can’t make this s*** up,” he chuckled, pulling out his phone to show us the WhatsApp message, which reads: “Nat, heads up. The car is missing. I am trying to find out if it is impounded.”
According to Nat, his pal had just parked the 2011 Kia — no, it’s not some flashy sports model that’d be a thief magnet — out on the street as he usually does, and when he went outside one day, it was gone. “At least he was brave and honourable enough to let me know! (Guffaws)”
