The next time you see Singaporean singer-actor Nat Ho’s name, it might just be on the credits of the next big K-pop song.

The 38-year-old moved over to South Korea six months ago to further his music production career, and it looks like things are shaping up well.

He's a  Seoulite now.

In the first few months following his move, Nat updated everyone via his Instagram, sharing the obstacles and logistical roadblocks that he had to navigate as he looked to find an apartment to rent, and get used to his new life in Seoul.

He also enrolled in Yonsei University's Korean language programme to learn the language from scratch.

And now, he’s signed the lease to a studio of his own.

Hopping into 2023

"It's been almost 6 months in Korea and time has just flown by! I still remember the initial mad rush to find the housing, and then I had to get used to the system and logistics here, and now, finally, I feel settled in enough to start getting back into music,” Nat wrote in an Instagram post on February 2.

Though he has settled into an apartment in Seoul, Nat shared that he wasn’t really able to work on his music there, as it’s "not great for recording and the neighbours can hear everything”.

Now that he has his own studio, which he says will double up as his office and work space, it looks like it’s time to get the creative juices flowing.

"I'm looking forward to many hours of productivity and making magic!” he wrote.

Nat's no stranger to moving abroad.

In 2013 he moved to Taiwan to build a music career there, and in 2020, he moved to the United States to study music production.
