Michelle Chong Has A Horrifying Swollen Eye; Gives Hilarious Reply To Follower Who Asked If She Peeped At Someone In The Shower

Has  Michelle Chong  finally had it with netizens and their imbecilic Instagram replies?  

Yesterday, the 46-year-old local actress-host shared on her Instagram Stories that she has a swollen eye. 

"I took some antihistamines but the swelling hasn't subsided at all. It's red and painful when I touch it. Do I need to go see the doctor?," she asked, attaching a picture showing her slightly swollen eye. 

While her condition didn't seem too severe initially, it apparently got worse the next morning. In her words, it got so bad her eye started looking "like a fish ball".  

Sharing another selfie, Michelle covered her infected eye with a poll asking: "Wanna see my swollen eye?". 

The options were a) No thanks, I just ate. b) Yes, my day at work quite boring today.  

While the call to action there was very straightforward and foolproof, one netizen somehow had a really, um, interesting question for Michelle.  

"Where?," they replied, before quipping: "You peek [sic] people shower right". 

(P/S:  A reference to the old saying that one would get a swollen eye if they peek at someone in the shower or toilet, in case you didn’t know.) 

That response apparently left Michelle bemused. "Where"? 

Her reply: "Where is my swollen eye? It's on the left side of my face above the nose below the forehead where left eyes are usually located," she deadpanned, adding a scratching-head sticker to hammer home her confusion. 

Michelle did eventually share a pic of her swollen eye, which we admit looks pretty nasty. You’ve been warned. (See below):
