Mark Lee Bans All Forms Of Gambling At Home, Even During Chinese New Year

When you enter someone’s house during Chinese New Year, you are almost expected to be greeted with the familiar clack of shuffling mahjong tiles or riotous cheers of "Picture! Picture!" from those indulging in an all-nighter game of ban luck.

That, however, is not the case for Mark Lee, who shares with 8days.sg that he has banned all forms of gambling at his place.

Last November, in a video for the National Council on Problem Gambling, Mark opened up about his past gambling addiction, which almost ruined his life. He would later give an interview where he revealed that he used to spend up to S$5,000 a week on 4-D.

But he managed to kick the addiction and is now adamant that his family lives in a gambling-free environment. And that includes during Chinese New Year too.
