Leah Dou, Daughter Of Faye Wong, Was In S’pore For 3-Day Buddhism Course By Monk Who Shaved Her Head in 2017
Attendees to a sold-out three-day meditation course in Singapore spotted Leah Dou, the daughter of Faye Wong and her first ex-husband rocker Dou Wei, at the event.
The course was headed by revered Bhutanese monk Dzongsar Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche aka Khyentse Norbu.
In pictures posted online, Leah sat cross-legged on the ground while listening attentively.
It was also noted that Leanne wasn’t in the VIP area, choosing to sit at the back of the hall with five friends.
Considering she is a personal friend of Khyentse, it is interesting how she has kept a low profile.
This isn’t the first time the singer has attended a seminar by the reverend, who made news for shaving Leah’s head in 2017.
Like Faye, Leah is also a devout Buddhist.
It was then rumoured that Leah was considering being ordained as a nun. However, her record label quickly shot the news down, saying she was simply growing her hair out.
A few days before the course, Leah was spotted hanging with a group of friends along Orchard Road.
Netizens suspect that Leah is also here to check out Marina Bay Sands with her team as she will be performing her first concert there on January 18 next year.
