Lawrence Wong Says He Deserves “All The Good Things” When He Was Asked To Continue Filming Despite Having 38.3 Degree Fever In China
Money doesn't fall from trees, kids.
All that work, however, has taken a toll on his health.
Lawrence posted this short but worrying update on his Instagram Stories yesterday (May 5): “My body finally can’t take it and I’m at the hospital." It was accompanied by a photo of what looks to be a hospital pharmacy.
Two hours after that post, he shared a snap of a script, along with this caption: “After going to the hospital I am going back to work now. Yea this is how I earn my money (sic).”
Oh dear
Shortly after that, Lawrence revealed that he’s running a fever ("38.3 degree Celsius", to be exact) but was unable to rest as “production wants [him] to go back to shoot”.
He ended his post with: “I feel I truly deserve all the good things and success I have”.
The actor is believed to be filming an iQIYI drama in Luzhou as his recent Weibo posts have been geotagged to the city.

After production for his current drama wraps, Lawrence will return to Singapore to film Clover Films and iQIYI’s 2022 Lunar New Year comedy flick Reunion Dinner.
The plot revolves around Lawrence’s character and his fiancée meeting each others’ parents for the first time during Chinese New Year. Xiang Yun will play Lawrence’s mother, while Mark Lee will portray a close family friend. Casting is still ongoing and filming is scheduled to begin in July.
