Who Looks More Like PM Lawrence Wong: YES 933 DJ Kunhua Or Actor Shawn Thia?

Prime Minister Lawrence Wong better watch out because it seems the lookalikes are fast coming out of the woodwork.
Local actor Shawn Thia first jumped on the bandwagon in April and has since released five videos of himself looking uncannily like our PM.
But there's now another personality who might just give Shawn a run for his money.
In his post on Instagram yesterday (May 14), YES 933 DJ Zhong Kunhua shared a series of pics of himself dressed up in a blue shirt with his hair styled very much like Lawrence.
One picture even saw him posing with a guitar, you know, just like PM Lawrence whom international media outlets have christened as “Singapore’s guitar-welding Prime Minister”.
The comments came in hard and fast with many noting the similarities between Kunhua and Lawrence.
“Kunhua the DPM… Deejay Pretending Minister,” commented host Danny Yeoh.
8days.sg caught up with the jock, who says he “doesn’t think he looks anything” like the Prime Minister.
According to Kunhua, talk that he resembled Lawrence started at last year’s Star Awards.
"I was dressed in a full denim outfit and wearing a pair of transparent-rimmed spectacles,” he says. “I guess since the Prime Minister is known to wear rimless glasses people felt I looked like him."
While Kunhua gladly concedes that Shawn “looks more like Lawrence”, he does look forward to appearing in a video together with the latter.
It seems the sentiments are mutual. Shawn commented on Kunhua’s post, writing: “I guess I have no choice but to fight you for it, sir.”
