Kim Lim & Son’s 2-Day Birthday Carnival In Sentosa Was Attended By Guests Like Zoe Tay, Xiaxue & Youths From Boys' Town Charity

By now you’d probably know that billionaire heiress-turned-businesswoman Kim Lim, 31, basically throws the most gorgeous celebrations ever. 

So when the time came for Kim and her five-year-old son Kyden to celebrate their birthdays — Kyden is born on July 18, and Kim, July 21— she of course upped the ante with an out-of-this-world bash dubbed 'Kandy Karnival'.

The party, which was held at The Barracks Hotel Sentosa on Sunday (July 24), was attended by 250 of Kim and Kyden’s nearest and dearest.

Familiar faces spotted included local celebrities such as Zoe Tay, Aileen Tan, Hong Huifang, Cassandra See, Xiaxue and Jianhao Tan. There were also personalities from Thailand, Indonesia and Hong Kong gracing the event as well.

Kim, who is no stranger to doing charity work, also extended the carnival, or should we say Karnival by a day so 50 guests from North East Community Development Council, SSO@Tampines, as well as Boys’ Town, a charity to help disadvantaged youth, could enjoy the festivities.

Kim later shared a picture of a handwritten birthday card she'd received from the kids from Boys' Town.

"Wish all of you to grow up healthy, happy and many blessed days ahead of you," wrote Kim.

According to a post by the party planner, the entire shindig featured "a 30-feet tall, 1,000kg castle, 3,000-feet drapes, 72 rainbow doors, 10,000 toys and balloons”.

Oh, and it also took 10 days to set up.

The event was Pokémon-themed, a nod to Kyden’s favourite show, we believe.

After all, he was dressed up as Pokémon trainer Ash Ketchum at the party.
