When we see Kayly Loh gamely climbing up the bonnet and roof of her Land Rover Defender during our photoshoot, we remember thinking there isn’t a more perfect car for the actress. Bold, rugged and utilitarian, her hulking ride, which she bought second-hand for $115,000 last November after much deliberation, is truly an extension of her personality. “I am innately a boy lah so I like rugged stuff,” the 31-year-old laughs when we tell her how much the car suits her. “I was driving a minivan before this. Small cars don’t appeal to me.”
