Kate Pang Touched That Husband Andie Chen Made Her Breakfast For The First Time In 10 Years Of Marriage; Says He Used To Only Do Housework With His Mouth

There are few things sweeter than your partner making breakfast for you. 

Sharing a pic of her brekkie made by her husband Andie Chen, ex-Mediacorp host Kate Pang, 41, gushed: "This world is ever-changing, and so are people."

"When I first married Andie, he did all the housework with his voice. When there are chores, all he needed to do was open his mouth and [ask someone else to do it]," she lamented. 

Kate and Andie, 38, tied the knot in 2013, and they have a son, Aden, nine, and a daughter Avery, seven, together. 

Kate admitted she found her husband's behaviour ridiculous, though she understood that it was "not easy" for someone who grew up with a helper to know how to do laundry or cook. 

It's why she spent the next decade molding him into the ideal husband.

"After 10 years of being nurtured by marriage (I'm ashamed to call it torture and training), my husband now knows how to hang the clothes out to dry, mop the floor and do the dishes," Kate said proudly. 

"And... I actually got to taste the chicken breast with cheese scrambled eggs he made today. It was super delicious," she wrote, poking fun at how long it took Andie to whip up something for her. 

That said, the actress, who had sent their kids to school, admitted she was "really touched" to see the freshly prepared breakfast on the table when she got home. 

The actress went on to joke that she "wouldn't have seen this day coming 10 years ago". In fact, she did not expect such a big change from her husband.

"All you need to do is to wait patiently and good things will come, and the wait will be worthwhile!", she gushed, adding these hashtags "the bright side of marriage", "my life is getting better and better" and "my husband is the best".
