JJ Lin Super Fan From M'sia Went On A 19-Hour Long Journey Just To Meet The Singer In Singapore
How long will you travel for to support your idol?
For Malaysian influencer Chang Le, he left home at 7am for a four-hour drive across the Causeway into Singapore just to catch a glimpse Singapore singer JJ Lin at the grand opening of his Miracle Coffee’s flagship store at the Art Science Museum last Wednesday (Dec 6).
That is not all.
After spending about six hours — two of which were spent queueing for a cup of Miracle Coffee — standing outside the Art Science Museum trying to get a glimpse of JJ, the 22-year-old didn’t get home until 2am the next morning because of a traffic jam at the customs.
Yikes. That adds up to about 19 hours of travelling time just to breathe the same air as JJ.
We are guessing Chang Le did not mind the time-consuming journey, and in a Instagram Reel, seemed to have had fun hanging out with other JJ fans, dodging the rainy weather, and getting to see their idol who came out in the torrential rain to chat with everyone gathered outside.
Netizens took to the comments saying how they were so envious of Chang Le and how happy he must have been to meet the superstar up close.
We think the best part was when Chang Le cutely screamed JJ’s name several times and even confessed, “JJ Lin, I love you! I am Chang Le!”, to which the singer seemed to have noticed and reciprocated by not only waving back, but responding with a heart gesture, sending the crowd into cheers.
