Jeffrey Xu Jokes That His "Hearing Might Be Slightly Damaged" 'Cos Of How Loud Wife Felicia Chin Is

One thing we absolutely love about Mediacorp actress Felicia Chin is her unbridled laughter. So hearty, so infectious, so full of life.

But do our eardrums feel the same way?

The 40-year-old actress was recently on Mediacorp food variety series Murder On The Menu with her husband Jeffrey Xu, 36, as well as Mediacorp actor-host Bryan Wong. 

There, they were tasked to investigate a series of gruesome kitchen 'murders' together with the show's host, Mediacorp actor Jeremy Chan.

And let's just say we've never seen any 'murder' scene filled with this much laughter.

In a snippet shared on mediacorp.re.dian's Instagram account, the entire episode had Feli's exuberant cackles echoing throughout.

"The sound we heard the most in the kitchen today was Felicia's laughter," said Jeremy, who mused that Feli's probably 50 times louder than he is. 

At times, the actress would also squeal in excitement or shock, leaving the rest of the cast startled.

"I've personally heard how loud Felicia's laughter is before, but it's usually not as deafening as it was today," lamented Bryan. 

It even reached a point where Feli was told by a staff to lower her volume as they were able to record her voice from the next room.

"Oh.. I need to be softer, I'll remind myself," the actress then said to herself. 

But while Bryan and Jeremy were flabbergasted by Felicia's reverberating antics, her husband, on the other hand, was completely unfazed. 

All Jeffrey did throughout the show was to look at his wife, with his usual loving eyes, while laughing at how the others were reacting. Guess being married for almost three years has trained him well?

He did have something to say after the entire episode though.

"Next time if you guys call me and I don't respond, please don't blame me! It's because my hearing might be slightly damaged!," he jokingly commented on IG Reel. 

Feli's response to everyone's jests? "Thank you guys for... erm... accepting me," she quipped.

Looks like someone might be sleeping in the living room tonight.
