James Seah Full Of Praise For “One Of The Best Actors” He Has Worked With In New Mediacorp Drama Fix My Life

Er… who or what?!

Mediacorp drama Fix My Life only just started airing, but it’s already starting to heat up.

Over on Instagram, leading man James Seah, 32, couldn’t help but praise one of his co-stars for their stellar performance.

”One of the best actors that I worked with on [Fix My Life]. Swipe to see who it is,” he wrote in his caption.

Iiinteresting… Are we’re about to see a potential Star Awards 2024 Best Actor nominee?

Well, hello there.

Unfortunately, that was not the case.

You see, James’ best actor co-star was…. a cockroach.

As it turns out, a recent episode showed James, who plays Fan She De, a ‘Master of Decluttering’, shaking out a box, and inadvertently dislodging a cockroach that was hidden inside.

The insect then scurries away in double-quick time, with a camera trained on it.

Ready for its close-up.

But, how did they get the shot? We mean, you can’t exactly train cockroaches, right?

Well, the second video James shared managed to explain just that. Basically a crew member gingerly drops the cockroach in front of the camera for that shot.

Yikes.

Hong Ling and James Seah.

Fellow Fix My Life star Hong Ling commented on James’ post, writing that if it were her, she’d "go crazy”, along with a puking emoji.

Anyway, for those of you who are wondering — the cockroach was left unharmed.

James added at the end of his caption that his insect co-star was "released back into the wild safely right after”.

Well, that’s a relief, we guess.

Catch Fix My Life on Channel 8, weekdays at 9pm from Feb 15 onwards. All episodes are available on meWATCH here.
