Mediacorp actor James Seah, 31, and influencer Nicole Chang Min, who turns 30 next week, tied the knot on Saturday (Jan 15), and we have to say that the photos are absolutely gorgeous.

According to location geotags on Instagram, the wedding was held high up in the sky — Ion SKY, to be precise — at 1-Atico, with lush decorations done by fellow newlywed Kayly Loh’s floral studio.

Many of the couple’s famous friends, including Elvin Ng, Jeremy Chan, Desmond Tan, Michelle Wong, Paige Chua, and Xiaxue, were in attendance and shared loads of snaps on their socials, with James and Nicole themselves taking to Instagram to post more pics along with their thoughts the next day.

“Starting a new chapter in my life together with [Nicole]. Last night was simply magical,” gushed James. “Now I know why people say that weddings are stressful because it takes a village [to] do it. Lots of people to show appreciation to.”

The star went on to thank his new wife “for not being a bridezilla”, his mother “for being there for” him, Kayly and her team for turning the venue into “a magical forest in the skies”, singers Alfred Sim and Tay Kewei for “being such amazing [emcees]”, and a whole list of other important vendors.

Nicole also expressed her gratitude towards those who made the big day possible, and happily declared that she is “officially Mrs Seah”.

Oh, and in case anybody’s wondering what hashtag they went with ( his idea of holding it on May 1 and using “One May Seah Chang”, which means “Perfect Ending” in Chinese, obviously couldn’t work), it was the much simpler and un-punny #jameswedsnicole and #happyjamcoleday.

Posts under the hashtags show that each guest received customised fragrances and lottery tickets as wedding favours.

Kayly also shared a little behind-the-scenes insight about the decor, saying that some of the plants came from her very own garden and that she specially bought whole banana plants just so she could get their flowers. She definitely takes her job very seriously.

James and Nicole have been together for about six years and got engaged on Christmas Day 2019. They are currently renting an apartment while waiting for their BTO flat to be ready, which will be next year at the earliest.

8days.sg reached out to James for an interview but we were told by his manager that he “has been packed with filming” so he had to turn down our request.
